Sundarban national park

Sajnekhali Wildlife Sanctuary is established in 1986 located in the South 24 Pargana district of west Bengal. The name Sajnekhali is derived from the word 'Sajna', which refers to a cluster of three islands with an adjacent water body located in the southern part of Sundarban National Park. • Sudhanyakhali watch tower

Hamilton Bungalow in the Sundarban is the Forest Reserve in West Bengal was built in 1908 by Daniel Mackinnon Hamilton (1860–1939) who bought the property in 1903 from William Crawford (1840–1897). Daniel McKinnon Hamilton was born on 6th December 1860 to John Daniel Hamilton and Mary Ann Forrester at Christon Hall, Lanarkshire, Scotland. If you are ever in the Sundarbans area of Bengal, be sure to visit Sir Daniel Mackinnon Hamilton's bungalow. The Scottish businessman made the bungalow his second home and the bungalow is a quirky and beautiful reflection of that Although it may not be the most unusual or well-known structure in the area, it is definitely worth a visit for its unique history and architecture.
• Jharkhali
Jharkhali, about 80 km from the city of Kolkata forms a transit point between the state of West Bengal and the Sundarbans the world's largest mangrove forest. For more than five decades Jharkhali was a populous village situated on the banks of the Ganges. About three years ago, the area saw massive development when the government launched a massive plan to promote it as a transit point along Diamond Harbour Road.
